Wow, was it a FUN weekend

September 11, 12 and 13th, 2009

Hey Gang:

First a special thanks to Lloyd Gillespie, Vince Bologna and Nancy Negrette Rodebush for doing sooo much from so far away for The BIG SHOW!!    Thanks guys !!! 

 FRIDAY  WAS:

Del Mar's 50th Birthday

Party included FOOTBALL

20-14  Was very fun!!

Very exciting last 2 minutes!!

And thanks to the current students!!

They gave us a standing ovation when the Announcer had the Alum from the 60's stand and be acknowledged.

We HAD cake, 29 Birthday Cakes!!

And an Alumni Car Show !

Was very fun.  NICE CARS !!

Gary Carrell 1963 is the hero here. 

Thanks Gary for a GREAT JOB!   Not only did he shop for some of the drinks, donated most drinks, stored them in San Jose, started the beer chilling, transported it to Oak Meadow, was on the set-up crew, cooked ALL day long, and was the cleanup crew coordinator and wagon puller.

Ingrid Anderson was always there.  Months of work!  From Planning, reserving 3 of our 4 group areas, decorations, sign-in, recruiting the teams, purchasing some of the drinks and food, etc., etc.

Lots of classmates from '63 and '64, many '65 and a few '66 and '67   Great Event!!

We started outside on the patio, then when it became a little chilly we moved into the Bar until we overpowered that.  Then took over the Three Degrees Restaurant for the rest of the evening!
